Hi, I’m Marlanna Murgaw! My husband, Daniel, and I will be married six years this October. I have a stepson named Malachi, who just turned eight in August and we have seven fur babies as well!

I have been dancing for sixteen years. I started my dancing journey at a secular dance studio from age four to seven. I took a break from dancing while trying to find a dance studio that was a better fit. I finally found FIM when I was twelve and never looked back.

My favorite genre of dance is Tap, just ask anyone!

I was a member of FIM’s Jr. Faculty for five years before becoming an apprentice/assistant teacher and then Sr. Faculty. I have been a member of the Sr. Faculty team for the past six years. During my duration at FIM I have taught Tap, Ballet and Jazz as well as assisting with numerous other classes.

I dance at Faith In Motion because I have a call of worship on my life and I love to dance. At Faith In Motion dancing and worship go hand in hand, and I have the freedom to use my body as a vessel of praise and worship. I desire to teach others how to utilize the gifts that God has given them in a way that will uplift others, reach the lost and broken and build the kingdom of Christ.

I think others should join FIM because we’re a family. We strive to provide a welcoming environment and we want people to know just how loved and treasured they are by Christ. We are very family oriented and we base everything we do on the word of God. We will always strive to spread the love of God to whoever steps through our doors.
